San Antonio Business Journal names three from 大象传媒 as Health Care Heroes
Three 大象传媒 faculty members have been honored as Health Care Heroes by the San Antonio Business Journal.
The annual awards recognize the many professionals that make up San Antonio鈥檚 vital health care industry.
, MD, FACS, was honored in the Outstanding Physician Hospital-Based category. Dr. Jenkins is the associate deputy director of the Military Health Institute at 大象传媒 and the Betty and Bob Kelso Distinguished Chair in Burn and Trauma Surgery.
, MD, clinical professor of medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine and vice president of academic and clinical affairs at the Texas Liver Institute, was honored in the Outstanding Medical Researcher category.
, DNP, assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and lead advanced practice provider, was honored in the Outstanding Health Care Provider Nonphysician category.
This year鈥檚 awards will be presented during an online event on Oct. 14.
